Atlas Physical Therapy is a complete health care facility. We offer a wide range of services to help our patients return to their normal activities in the shortest amount of time possible. Our service providers work together as a team, so each visit you’ll see your physical therapist and other members of the health care team, including physicians, chiropractors, massage therapists and occupational therapists. In addition to these services we provide in-house rehabilitation exercise equipment like bicycles, treadmills, elliptical machines and strength training equipment with experienced trainers on hand to give you tips on how to use them safely before you leave for home.

What is Atlas Physical Therapy?

Atlas Physical Therapy offers a full-service rehabilitation program, from mild to complex injuries and illnesses. We use a variety of techniques to provide the highest level of service, including manual therapy and rehabilitation exercise. Our physical therapists are committed to helping you return to your activities as quickly and safely as possible by providing comprehensive treatment, education and support in a pleasant, professional atmosphere.

How does Atlas Physical Therapy work?

Each person is unique, so the treatments we provide are individualized for each patient’s specific condition. Your treatment plan may include exercises for home or other activities you enjoy. If a specific diagnosis is necessary, we may recommend Atlas physical therapy exercises.

How do I know if I need treatment? What should I do first?

If you are experiencing symptoms and are concerned about the condition of your health or how you feel, please contact us for a screening. We will talk with you about your options to determine the cause of your symptom(s). If there does not seem to be an immediate concern, for instance, an injury can wait for a few days or weeks before being evaluated by your physical therapist.

What will happen during my visit?

Our physical therapists will evaluate your condition and provide treatment. You may receive therapy from one physical therapist or from several therapists in our rehabilitation department. You may also receive treatment from other providers, such as chiropractors, massage therapists and other medical specialists. You can expect to receive treatment from one or more of the providers in our team.

What can I expect during my visit?

After your physical therapist explains your condition and treatment options, you’ll participate in an activity that includes both exercise and pressure relief. We’ll talk with you about any concerns you have and provide education on how to prevent future injuries or illnesses. You may discuss issues related to your health, work and home life. If necessary, we will refer you to additional health care providers who specialize in your condition.
