I cannot believe I am writing this blogpost about a family and their health care insurance. I must’ve sat in a doctor’s office for a couple of hours on a couple of occasions. The fact is, our family is the oldest one in the bandera and is the second oldest one to have health insurance through our local hospital. Our family has had to deal with a variety of health issues, but we are lucky enough to have the best one in the entire state.
That’s a lot of history. With no insurance or health coverage, I was just glad to have a family member who was so willing to help me. But the hospital in Bandera is still a private institution and is run by the same people who have been doing this for years. So that’s why I got so irritated at the fact that the hospital has refused to give my family medical insurance that I’ve been receiving for the past couple of years.
the bandera hospital is the only health facility in the entire state that is NOT owned by a private company. Its also the only one that doesnt care about your insurance status.
That last quote is a direct quote from the hospital’s website. The fact that they arent run by the same people who have been doing this for years is the other major reason why I had to get mad.
The bandera family is a large Catholic family that has been going against the grain of healthcare in the state of New Jersey for a long time. They do not have the money or the resources to be doing this themselves, so they turn to the state for healthcare. The fact that they are trying to keep it private and that they are willing to turn away people who do not have insurance is really sad.
Of course, there is going to be a price to pay for this. Our healthcare system can be a very complicated one. It requires so many checks and balances that it can be hard to know exactly what people are paying for. There is no doubt that the bandera family have done something right in fighting this fight, although the cost of fighting for yourself is higher in the long term.
The bandera family are trying to keep it private, but they are willing to deny people access if they don’t have insurance. They are also apparently willing to turn people away if they are not in a high-risk group, which is a bit different than the insurance companies. (For the record, I am on both the bandera and insurance side of this).
I really dig the idea of having a health care option that is privately managed, without the government interference that has made getting medical care so expensive. I also really like the idea of giving people the choice to purchase a health insurance plan or not, rather than forcing them into a system where they can only get medical care if they can afford it, which is why I started this blog. It may not be perfect, but I am willing to try to improve it.
This is a good question, but I’ve found that most of the health care companies offering private plans are not offering insurance plans. The ones that offer such plans are typically very old and have been around for a long time, and the ones that make their money off of health care insurance plans are more recent. I’ve heard stories about companies just dropping plans, saying they have too many customers, and then switching their business to something else.
As for bandera, their health care is actually very good. It has a very affordable deductible and very competitive annual fees. But a lot of health care companies charge more for health insurance plans than they do for private health care. While bandera is a very affordable plan, the fees are much higher. The other issue is that bandera has a very broad network of providers.
