I have to admit I was hesitant about this book because it seemed too narrow in focus. When I finished reading the book, I thought there was an easier way to incorporate some of the concepts to my daily life. Instead of just focusing on the symptoms of the three different levels of self-awareness that I mentioned above, what I found was that the book covered everything I want to know about this topic.
The book comes with an eight-week course to start your journey of self-awareness. You’ll learn about the three types of self-awareness, the three different stages of self-awareness, how to use meta-cognition, and how to create a healthy lifestyle (both mental and physical) so that you can experience the benefits of self-awareness and the benefits of self-awareness.
The book’s “central city integrated health” section is the most interesting section to me. This section discusses how we can become aware of our thoughts and emotions, and then utilize that awareness to our advantage. The ability to recognize what we feel and what we think is a huge part of self-awareness. The book mentions that we can use this awareness to our advantage, and in the book we have a video clip which shows several people using this skill.
The video clip is called “I Feel Alive.” It shows a woman who’s trying to figure out what she’s feeling. Her mind is a complete mess, but the video shows her trying to figure out how she can use that “I Feel Alive” to her advantage.
The same principle applies to the ability to recognize what we think. We can use our awareness to become aware of what we think and what we feel. When we can recognize the feeling of the thing we think, we can actually do something about it. For example, let’s say that you’re feeling the urge to buy a new pair of pants. You could notice that your mind has a particular pattern of thoughts related to it.
