I was at the dog park, and there was a dog that was dislocated in his toe. The dog was a pit bull mix that I had adopted back about six months ago.
This dog was just a few weeks ago still being a pit bull, but now he was just walking on his toes. I don’t think the dog is aware yet that he’s been dislocated in his toe. At this point he’s just walking on his toes.
The same dog is also walking on his toes, but with a broken leg. The broken leg is on his leg and he is just walking on his toes.
The dog is definitely aware that his toe has been dislocated. He is aware that he is walking on his toes as that is what he is used to. He is aware that his foot has a broken leg, and he is aware that his ankle is broken. But he is not aware that he is walking on his toes. That is for him to discover. That is what dogs do.
We know dogs don’t have awareness of their own feelings. They don’t know what is going on inside of them. They cannot be aware of their own feelings. We assume that they cannot be aware of their own thoughts. However, it is possible that dogs have a more advanced form of self-awareness, and that they have a more advanced form of self-awareness than we do.
We have no strong evidence that dogs have a more advanced form of self-awareness than we do. But we do know that dogs do not have a normal form of limb awareness. We are not aware of our own limb awareness. We only know that we know. This is the point at which we need to develop our own awareness. Our own awareness of our own feelings. Our own awareness of our own thoughts.
We all know the feeling of pain. It’s the feeling that we get when we get hit by a car and we can’t move. But the feeling that we can’t move is a feeling that we don’t have an awareness of. It’s a feeling that we don’t even have a conscious awareness of. And the pain that we feel is a pain that we’re not aware of.
I know that dog dislocated toe is not a feeling at all but that makes it even more frustrating. Although I have been able to learn to recognize and control the pain in my own life, the awareness of the pain is all I have. I have been able to get to that conscious awareness though by learning to acknowledge and control my own body movement. The difference between that and dog dislocated toe is that instead of looking at my own body, I look at it from a distance.
I found that I was able to control the pain and use my awareness to actually help me not feel it. The problem with dog dislocated toe is that it becomes a habit, so I am sure that some people will start to feel it in new ways that they never have before.
So, it seems, as I’m typing this, I am lying on the floor, my foot is dislocated, and I’m still trying to figure out how to not feel whatever is causing it. At least not until it’s too late.
