We usually think of dog eyes as a sign of affection or love, but in fact it is a sign of stress. A dog’s eyes are a constant reminder to the owner that their pet is being watched and evaluated. The dog is looking for approval and care from its human.

We all have an “eye doctor” in our midst. They are there to look out for things like anxiety attacks, insomnia, and depression. But it’s not a bad thing to have an eye doctor in our midst. It can be very useful to ask them what their eye doctor recommends to prevent and treat those problems. It’s also helpful to know what we can do to protect ourselves from something bad that we could not otherwise prevent.
