I know that this statement is usually accompanied with a smile on your face and a big, fat “oohhs” and “aahhs” from both my husband and my dog, who are both medium to large dogs. If you’re like most people, you’ll look at me like I’m going to eat your dog. But, I can’t.
To make it work in a dog environment, you need to bring the dog inside and close the door. The dog’s natural instincts to do everything that is possible to keep you from getting bitten are not going to come to the rescue if you close the door. By the time you reach the dog, there is time to decide whether or not to kill it.
While the idea of an open-sided dog stroller is a good one, I can’t say I’ve ever actually seen one. I think it might come in handy for a dog that prefers not to be confined.

I’m not sure how they do it, but B&G Dogtree is also the company that makes the dog-walker strollers. In fact, they have a stroller line of dog-walker strollers and dog-tree strollers.
The Dogtree strollers are made of durable plastic and feature a foldable design so that a dog can fit inside and out. The stroller can be folded into a backpack shape for easy transportation. Also, because it’s made of durable plastic (so no chance of your dog chewing on it), the stroller is also a lot lighter than most dog-walker strollers.
So if you’re looking for something that’s a lot more durable and lighter, then I suppose you could consider the Dogtree stroller. However, this is still a sturdy and lightweight stroller, just not quite as durable as the BampG Dogtree.
