How I like to think of it is that we all have three levels of self-awareness and we can’t do anything about that. We can get the most out of any given situation but we can’t have enough self awareness to be a complete person.
The problem is that the more we try to control our thoughts and actions, the less control we actually have. So when things go wrong, we blame ourselves. Because we dont have enough self awareness to be a complete person, we end up blaming ourselves for everything that happens to us. That’s a problem because we need to be able to act and react in a way that reflects the reality of our situation.

So I need to take a step back and say, “Is this a good idea? Am I feeling good about this? Am I feeling like I’m losing control?” and take a look at the situation objectively.
This is the first time I’ve heard of merit health, but it sounds like a bit of a joke. In short, if you’ve ever had a bad day at work, you’re allowed to take a break and give yourself merit health. In reality, it is just a fancy way of saying “I am going to start working out and get some sleep.

It doesn’t get any easier to get into shape. When I was getting into shape, I used to lift weights. But now I use a machine. I now lift weights with a barbell, and I use a machine with a barbell.
