I believe that everyone is on their own journey whether you are a teenager or an adult. I have always been a fan of the “New Horizons” approach to behavioral health. I believe it is my job as a therapist to help people who are struggling with mental health issues to be more aware of what’s going on.

In other words, should the government force you to engage in a certain behavior? Yes, in certain cases and under certain circumstances. But not for those that should not be forced.
In the behavioral health field, the term “rehabilitation” includes a lot of things. Sometimes they are people who are just dealing with a disability, other times they are people who are trying to recover from some long term problem. For example, if a person were to become a zombie, they would be considered recovered. In the behavioral health field, people become recovered from a disability when they are able to continue with their lives and make the best out of it.
