In the past, I have written a lot about the importance of understanding behavioral health. I’ve also discussed the difference between a behavioral disease and a behavioral health disorder. In this blog, I will talk about the differences between the three.
The three most important things about a behavioral health disorder are depression, anxiety, and addiction. Basically these three are all things which could affect anyone. If you have any of these three disorders (depression, anxiety, or addiction), you need to talk to a professional. As you may have noticed, I do not have any of these three disorders. So, in the absence of any of these three conditions, I can be in good shape.
Depression is a mood disorder. There are two types: major and minor. Major depression is more serious and has a greater chance of causing permanent damage to your body and self-esteem. Minor depression is less serious and is more likely to have a temporary effect on your body and life.
Anxiety is a mental state in which we are anxious about something. We are not experiencing an acute stress response, so the feeling of anxiety is not a full-fledged response to worry.

Anxiety is a very real mental state that can have symptoms including, but not limited to, nervousness, restlessness, sleeplessness, trembling, palpitations, trembling hands, sweating, rapid heartbeat, shaking, trembling voice, trembling legs, shaking legs, shaking teeth, shaking teeth, and shaking gums.
When we’re depressed, it’s normal to feel sad, worried, or anxious. When we’re anxious though, it’s normal to feel anxious. When we’re depressed, the anxiety is the first symptom. When we’re anxious, the depression may seem to be the first symptom. But when we’re depressed, it’s the first symptom.
I’m not a doctor, so I can’t really tell you how to diagnose these things, but I hope you can read the list and perhaps figure out what is going on with your own body. If you’ve had depression, or anxiety, or any other mental health issues, you should do what you can to improve the way you’re using your mind. Don’t beat yourself up over it, just go for a walk, do something fun, and just stop thinking about it.
