When I found out that a dachshund is only 1.2 years old, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to start training him (and help him grow). I’ve been training him for almost 6 weeks now, and I am so happy with how he has turned out! He’s already learned to sit, stand, and lay down, and is getting better about taking short walks and taking care of his poop.
Training a dachshund is very similar to training a dog. The main difference is in the amount of training time you have to do.
When you train a dog a lot of the time you can control their body movement. A dachshund is more of a “mama” than a dog. Her body is more of a “me time” in a household. She cannot take long walks without getting the “me time” period to end. Like a dog, she can only learn so much.
So like a dog, a dachshund can learn how to do something in as little as a day. It’s a great example of the importance of “learning by doing.” Even though it’s only about a week of daily training, it could be a lifetime of being able to do the same things a dog can do without the hours of daily exercise.
So, for example, let’s say you need to train your dachshund to sit in the same spot for hours at a time. You can do this with a handful of treats to make your dachshund want to stay. The trick is to first do something to make your dachshund want to stay. Then wait for a few minutes. And then repeat.
Well, I think that the most important thing to remember is that this is all about doing something, and doing it well. The dog doesn’t need to do it all the time. It just needs to be something that a dog doesn’t have much of a reason to do. And that isn’t to say, however, that you can’t train a dog to do anything.
One way to keep a dog busy is to give it something that it doesnt have to do. The way to do it is to train it to do something that it doesnt have a choice about. For instance, the dachshund could be trained to stay at your feet while you walk them. Or the dog could be trained to sniff your shoes and then lick your feet. These are all things that you dont have to do, but they are things that they can do.
You could train a dog to do something that it wouldnt normally do. For example, a dog that is trained to bark at the moon and then sniff it for a few seconds wouldnt be able to bark at the dog that isnt trained to sniff at the moon. But you can make the dog do things that it wouldnt normally do. For instance, a dog that is trained to sniff your dog and do a little dance might be able to do it with an unfamiliar dog.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a dog that would think that it was its own doppelganger. If they are, that would be a good example of how some people can train a dog into a doppelganger.
It’s even possible that they are dachshunds. We do know that a lot of people don’t train dogs to do certain things, like train them to bark at the moon and then sniff it for a few seconds. Many people don’t train dogs to perform a certain action. They teach dogs how to do something by having them do it, not by doing it themselves.
