One thing that I think a lot of people overlook when they think of health is that health is not a fixed aspect of our lives. We cannot live an entire life without health. We can develop health, but we cannot develop it to the point where we do not have to worry about it.
The health we have is a function of the diet and exercise we choose, and the way we learn, train, and perform the skills we learn. Just as we each have different bodies, we each have different health, and the challenge for health is learning how to keep it all together.
I was reminded of that this week when I saw a video of the new Bloodsport video (link in the description). It was a video of a young (but not new) player of the game who was doing some sort of health recovery training. It was quite striking to see that his body was doing so much work, even though he was getting up to speed very quickly.
